About
LEODINITO Y. CAÑETE is the Secretary of the Board of Regents of Cebu Normal University. At CNU he also handles graduate courses in theory development, research process, and current pedagogical issues and serves as the editor of its Journal of Higher Education. Dr Cañete has a long-term interest in the organizational development of education institutions and knowledge management having served as a teacher and an educational administrator of the Department of Education. He completed his Doctor of Pedagogy with Highest Honors at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and did research on the relationships of Filipino immigrant communities in Greece within the Greek education framework. He also had a career at the National Economic and Development Authority starting as an economic development specialist and culminating as the Chief of the Operations Division of its Regional Office in Central Visayas.
